Virtual Classes
Sam’s classes make exercising fun; I truly look forward to going each time. The small group atmosphere creates a camaraderie that helps get through even the toughest parts of the workout. Her Peace, Love & Sweat (PL & S) classes are a perfect mix of cardio, strength and yoga....a full-body workout that switches gears just when you want to move on to something else. Her tune-up ball classes are amazing and unlike anything I’ve seen anywhere. She expertly guides the group to roll out the body from head to toe to work out every kink. It’s incredible how much more flexible and pain-free I feel each time. - Missy M.
Surprisingly, the myofascial release (Roll and Release class) really did feel good during some of the rolling. Other spots on my muscles "hurt so good." I slept better the evening after the session. And, I found myself craving it again days later. - Heather R.
What I appreciate most is how creative Sam is with her workouts. The time and effort she puts into providing the most interesting workouts keeps me coming back for more. It is both challenging and fun. I have discovered a new obsession and that is Sam’s restorative yoga classes with yoga tune-up balls. It hurts so good! - Nicole L.
In-Person Classes
For me, Sam’s class is the perfect combination of cardio, weights and stretching all of which you do at your own pace and at your own level. While I could and do work out alone, I show up more often and work harder at P, L & S. Plus, I’ve met some great people.” - Susan M.
It suddenly dawned on me, I thought “I’m really not all that jolly for a fat guy” so I set out to do something about it. With a little gentle coaxing from my good friend Sam Crowley I decided to give her class Peace, Love and Sweat a try. Literally after one class I was addicted. Sam has done an incredible job of blending aerobics, yoga and weights together in such a way that as soon as one element is getting tedious, boring or too painful it suddenly changes to the next discipline. All of this is blended with her tasteful music selections that will pump you up, push you harder and mellow you down as the class transitions. It is the first time that after a 45 minute workout I am left feeling tired, sore, sweaty and happy. Now I’m less fat and more jolly! Kudos to Sam Crowley for breaking the mold on the boring workout. - Matt V.
I really like that fact that it is under 45 minutes long and I feel like I got a full work out in including stretching, cardio, and weights. The music is great and it goes by so fast! I also like that almost each exercise can be modified for your level. -Heather R.
I was intimidated to start an exercise class with others as it been a while since I had formally worked out. Peace, Love and Sweat is ideal for all fitness levels. I feel successful in gaining strength, flexibility and endurance over the past 8 months. The interval training approach has enabled me to complete each element from the very beginning. Sam’s encouragement to move faster or to gradually increase weights along with the terrific music and fun atmosphere and camaraderie within the class has greatly contributed to my desire to continually show up to class and actually look forward to exercising. - Leslie B.
Sam Crowley's experience and insight are embedded in her workouts. Each exercise has been thought through for a variety of impacts to the body, creating balance between large and small muscle groups, aerobic benefit and strengthening, flexibility and balance. I leave with the satisfaction of having completed a challenging workout and having been centered in my body for that day. - Claire M.
